Postal delivery information
Postal Delivery FAQ – Lothian Bakery
1. Do you deliver to my area?
Yes — we offer postal delivery across the UK. Some remote or rural areas may experience slightly longer delivery times.
To check if we deliver to your postcode and view delivery costs, simply enter your postcode on the basket page.
2. How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs are based on the size and weight of your order. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most postal deliveries.
You’ll be able to choose your preferred delivery option during checkout.
3. When will my order arrive?
We dispatch orders on the date you select at checkout.
Example: If you place an order on the 22nd and choose the 23rd as your postal dispatch date, your parcel will be posted on the 23rd and should arrive on the 24th or 25th.
⏱ Please note: We cannot guarantee next-day arrival as final delivery is handled by Royal Mail. We only post orders on days the Post Office is open.
If you are ordering for something really important then until we get a more reliable courier set up and in place, please find an alternative or backup company.
4. Do you offer next-day delivery?
All postal orders have at least a 1-day lead time.
To qualify for next-day dispatch, place your order before 2 PM.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.
You can use the tracking number provided to monitor your parcel on the Royal Mail Tracking Website.
6. What happens if I’m not home during delivery?

Collect your parcel from a nearby delivery office
Or rearrange delivery online using the Royal Mail website

If you need to make a change, contact us immediately.
Once your parcel has been shipped, changes may be possible through the Royal Mail tracking email, depending on your area.
